Let’s RISE for GAZA – our team from UPSI

Alhamdulillah,  several friends and I were at the “Rapat Umum Gaza” on Saturday, 10th January 2009. It was an electrifying event and the attendees are approximate to 10K according to TV9  prime time news.

As we arrived early, we’re presented with Save Gaza t-shirt and read headband. As a result we circumstantially involved in helping the organizer managing the traffic flows, collecting signatures and distributing hand-outs.  We also joined the cars convoy and were on our alpine peak in showing the Save Gaza stickers we got to the rest of the drivers on the road.

The Rapat UMUM was inspired by speeches given by several personnels  from different parties including Aman Palestin, UMNO, PAS, ABIM and PKR. Not to forget the special guest was Dr. Najib who represents HAMAS on that day.

Apart form that, my freind, Muadz was very energetic in giving his live performance and sings 2 beautiful songs on the struggle of GAZA people..

As to show support to the Palestinian and Aman Palestin, I also bought Save Children of GAZA t-shirt and “Selamatkan Palestin, Bumi Isra’ dan Mikraj” sticker after the event.

Insya’Allah, the event will be accepted by Allah as Ibadah and may the imapct will contribute to the fight of our ikhwah in GAZA..
